Rolling Quarters

I need to create rolling 4 quarters as follows:-

Apr-Jun - Q1
Apr-Sep - Q2
Apr-Dec - Q3
Apr-Mar - Q4

Date field to work on is sales.order_date and I need to count orders on a rolling basis.
