Does anyone have any tricks to give bring traction back to the rollers of an old (about 3 years) HP multifunction printer.

I've cleaned the paper rollers several times, and even coated them with that pink finger stuff you use to count money.

The printer will grab one piece of paper but if the user put in a bunch of paper it grabs 4 or 5 sheets.

The user is of course using that very slick white paper (that leaves a coating on the roller and which I've asked them not to use), and I've told the user to fan the paper before placing it in the bin.

Time for a roller replacement.
There are several parts sellers that you will find doing a google search for hp error codes and I've bought several sets from dealers that sell on ebay.
Too little traction and you don't feed, or you feed crooked and you jam. Too much traction and you attempt to feed multiples. Ed Fair
