Does anyone know, how to (safely!) rollback from SP3 to SP2?

Thanks

According to Novell documentation:
If you selected the Backup option during the Support Pack installation, files that are overwritten by the Support Pack files are backed up to SYS:SYSTEM\BACKSP3 or to the location you specified, so that you can restore the server to its original state if necessary. If you didn't select the Backup option, you can't uninstall the Support Pack.

IMPORTANT: Do not uninstall the Support Pack if you installed any products or patches after the installation of the Support Pack.

To uninstall the Support Pack, complete one of the following procedures:

1) At the server console prompt, enter NWCONFIG.

2) Select Product Options > Install a Product Not Listed.

3) Press F3 and then specify the path to the backup files (SYS:SYSTEM\BACKSP3 or the location you specified).

or

1) At the server console prompt, enter NWCONFIG.

2) Select Product Options > View/Configure/Remove Installed Products > SPACK.

3) Press Delete and then select Yes.

The Support Pack is uninstalled.

If Policy Manager errors occur after uninstalling the support pack, complete the following:

1) In NetWare Administrator, delete the LSP configuration object: NLS_LSP_<server_name> (for example, NLS_LSP_Novell).

2) If you installed a version 5 license before running the Uninstall program, then reinstall the version 4 license.

3) Run SETUPNLS.NLM at the system console.

HTH

Cheers,
Mark ;-)
