How can I stop rogue entries being put into my favourites folder without my consent. After loading software or visiting sites, I find they have bookmarked themselves.

Cheers

kwunder,

No way around it that I know of, it's in the install routine for the program. This began with Microsoft, then Real Networks (love that company) and now others are joining the bandwagon.

I can only tell you to track you installs.

I've notice this from PowrerArchiver, MR Tech's systray, imported bookmarks from Netscape, MSN Messenger (did I ask for that!)

Reghakr,
Yes, that MSN Messenger is a nuisance, and as for Real networks, my sentiments exactly..........

cheers anyway
