Can anyone explain me the exact parameter description for VARC, VARI & VARO in the ROCAI command.

Thanks,

Andy.

Rocai only includes the following parameters:
ROCAI :ROU= ,SEL= ,SIG= ,TRAF= ,TRM= ,SERV=
[ ,DIST= ] [ ,DISL= ] [ ,NODG= ] [ ,BCAP= ];
They exist in RODAI

Experience it, there is no substitute.

RODAI Route data initiate
FORMAT

ROU = Route number.
For value, consult parameter description for route data.

TYPE = Type of signalling diagram, i.e. the TL function block that handles the TL unit in the equipment position to use.
For value, consult parameter description for relevant application system, which will be found in a separate AS-binder.

VARI = Signal diagram variations for incoming traffic.
For value, consult parameter description for relevant function block TL, which will be found in a separate AS-binder.
Must be stated if the route is defined for incoming traffic.

VARO = Signal diagram variations for outgoing traffic.
For value, consult parameter description for relevant function block TL, which will be found in a separate AS-binder.
Must be stated if the route is defined for outgoing traffic.

VARC = Signal diagram variations common for incoming and outgoing traffic.
For value, consult parameter description for relevant function block TL, which will be found in a separate AS-binder.
Can be omitted only if the relevant TL function block permits this.

FILTER = Filter category.
States whether filter equipment is connected between tone sender and PABX.
The parameter can assume the following values:

YES Filter equipment connected

NO Filter equipment not connected

If the parameter is omitted the value NO is assumed.

VARI,VARO,and VARC are trunk type dependant and they are also version dependant.
What BC version do u use?
What type of trunk do you have?
the info will enable us to help you more.
don't you have Alex?
Good luck

Experience it, there is no substitute.

I have Alex but i can't find more specific VARC, VARO & VARI parameters for any trunk.
At the moment i need it for a 2b+D & 30b+d trunk.
My system (37 lim) is running on BC11 sp7.

greets Andy
