Hi. This modem worked great until I changed over to XP Pro...now it tops out at around 24, as though it were a 28.8. I've tried several different drivers, but have not yet hit on the right one. I'm currently using the sucky default driver from MS WinXP Pro.
I pulled the modem and got the following information off it:
CIS Tech Inc Series M1-5614PM3 high speed fax modem
RLDL56DPF
Rockwell 97
9905 B74135.6
FCC number 409TAI-32589-M5-E
SCT number MDMCOM198-179
P11650A6UHQQXJ
Taiwan
I've gone to the CIS page and found similar modems with FCC numbers having the same initial string, but the rest of the series of numbers is different.
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Uhhh...if one of them is 'toss it and get another modem', I've already considered that. lol
Thank you very much for your time.
