i have had to reinstall my operating system (win 98) i have a rockwell hcf 56k data/voice/fax PCI modem. when i try to install, system sets to com 1. but continuously get error message, that modem is not installed, system modem list goes up to 33.6. my second computer has installed motorola 56k pci modem to com 4 and i have no problem. should i try to install rockwell to com 4, if so how do i change com ports? if not can you help with other solution.
