Rockwell HCF 56K Data Fax PCI Modem

I have an IBM Aptiva with a built in Rockwell HCF Data Fax PCI modem. I have never used the fax feature on the Aptiva. We got an HP PSC 2210 all-in-one printer/scanner/copier/fax for Christmas and have connected it up. Everything works fine but I cannot receive faxes. The relevant message, I believe, is this: "If your modem software is set to automatically receive faxes to your computer, turn off that setting. If you don't your HP device will not be able to receive fax calls." My question is this: how do I "turn off" that setting on my computer fax so my new HP will receive the fax call? All my HP does now when I dial the fax number is ring and ring. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Jim Olson.
