I am helping work on a customer machine that has an Asus MB x58 and a RockRAID 2760a card. Before the RAID card was installed everything was build using one HDD. Then the card was added. Then the one drive was imaged and restored on onto the new RAID array. As an option when building the image it asked to make the drive "bootable". So now the Array has all the date from the single drive but will not boot. Even when the original drive is removed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

was the raid card driver added to windows before it was imaged? If you boot from a windows install disk, does it see the array as a drive?

does it attempt to boot from the array, or does it just sit there and does nothing?

in the former, then I would agree with RC that the driver is missing, and with the later then I would look at the BIOS boot settings and add the RAID card as a bootable device...
