Greetings helpers!
So I have another questions regarding my ongoing issues with my off-site L180 tape library.
Using robtest I was using 's s' scan slots to see what they contained. I was noticing that some of the tapes had a source address that corresponded with a tape drive.
See below for an example:
Barcode = D00108
slot 89 (addr 1088) contains Cartridge = yes
Barcode = D00117
slot 90 (addr 1089) contains Cartridge = yes
Barcode = D00118
slot 91 (addr 1090) contains Cartridge = yes
Barcode = D00107
slot 92 (addr 1091) contains Cartridge = yes
Barcode = D00119
slot 93 (addr 1092) contains Cartridge = yes
Barcode = D00120
slot 94 (addr 1093) contains Cartridge = yes
Source address = 500
Barcode = D00121
slot 95 (addr 1094) contains Cartridge = yes
Barcode = D00126
slot 96 (addr 1095) contains Cartridge = yes
Source address = 500
Barcode = D00125
<< Press return to continue, or q and return to stop >>
slot 97 (addr 1096) contains Cartridge = yes
Barcode = D00124
slot 98 (addr 1097) contains Cartridge = yes
Barcode = D00116
slot 99 (addr 1098) contains Cartridge = yes
Barcode = D00123
slot 100 (addr 1099) contains Cartridge = no
slot 101 (addr 1100) contains Cartridge = yes
Barcode = D00115
slot 102 (addr 1101) contains Cartridge = yes
Source address = 503
Barcode = D00114
____________________________________________
You can see where the slot 102 with address 1101 has a source address of 503. The tape drives are address 500 through 504.
Is there a way to fix this so the source address is correct. Could this effect how the tapes are used or pulled?
Thanks for your help.
