robotic library seen as stand-alone

go into your scsi card config (during boot-up) and enable multi lun.
 
also, if your robotic library continues to be recognized as a stand-alone, upgrade your version of backup exec.

i once had a problem getting veritas to recognize the quantum valueloader. once i upgraded backup exec, it found the library.
 
Check the Veritas (now Symantec) Hardware Compatibility List) for your version....to ensure your hardware is supported.

I had this problem with Backup Exec 10 and upgraded to 10d and all was OK. The 10 to 10d was a free upgrade too and all the remote agent licences worked too
