I have two Cisco 1200 wireless access points.
Both plug into the same switch.
I use WPA- PSK-TKIP, i don't have an authentification server/raduis server.
I have two DHCP servers that give out IP address to the wireless users.

When a user walks out of range from wireless AP 1 it drops there connection and takes serval seconds to connect to access point 2.

They are both on the same channel with the same SSID.

How can i set them up so it does drop the connection when you walk passed ap1 's range?

Did you mean "doesn't drop the connection"? If so, and by no means am I a wireless guy, but my first feeling is that they need to be on different channels to avoid contention with each other. I'm thinking this should happen automatically however unless you have this statically set, otherwise you have your AP's too far away from each other to overlap some so they can "see/detect" each other.

Hope I could help.
