Hi guys. Here's my problem.
I'm running 2003 R2 fully patched and XP clients SP3 fully patched.
Our staff is currently setup on roaming profiles. I've set the GPO to delete cached copies of roaming profiles (computer configuration\admin template\system\user profile)
So here's the problem. A user logs on and the profile is copied to their xp machine. If the user logs off that local copy is deleted. HOWEVER... if the user shutdown instead of logging of, it is not.
My question is 3 fold. Why does this happen? Is there someplace in the GPO that I can force this to delete at shutdown AND logoff, if not any ideas how to do this outside the GPO?
Thanks so much!
Dave
