Hi guys,

Im after Info and help... im want to give all my users roaming profiles.. i have made myself a roaming user but when you go into lotus notes and want to change user it still asks for the ID file of the user you want to change to so how do you get round that? - If this is not possible or really asy forgive me as i am a newbie to Lotus...

thanks

Hi GRANT007

We put the ID file in the user home drive which is mapped each time they log onto a machine. It does not matter where they login they get their Home drive, we use a default install on each users home drive say F:\Notes\data and point the icon to start in this directory. Works fine when everyone is configured the same. We have it working via Citrix this way and has worked for years.
The Notes.exe can be on the C:Drive for speed space and performance, but the other files can be elsewhere.

Good luck

how do i setup the client...? - as i have to set up a profile for them to login with... it would want to know who the person is before it asks for the password.? so how does the ID file and NSF file get chosen?
