Roaming profiles desktop shortcuts (special folders)

I'm trying to setup roaming profiles for my organization. I would like everyone to have the "special folder" shortcuts (My computer, my documents, my network places and IE) on their desktops (without asking them to place them there). I would rather not have "real" shortcuts to the items (I wan't the same icons that you get from "customize desktop" on display options).

Can anyone shed some light on this?

yes .. look in GPO setting for folder redirection, setup first or copy a desktop into a folder customize the desktop as you desire.. on the clients find the all users folder and clear the desktop in documents and settings..

point the redirection folder to your shared folder \\server\deskt
permissions ensure you do not give the write permissions and desktop will remain clean and as you set all time they log on
