Roaming profiles, cant acces files from the server

Hi,

It seems pretty weird to me that, when I log on the server, with the administrator account, that I can't see the files in the D:\Profiles\<username>\

It says that I don't have the permissions to do so, What the?

What is wrong here? MS or me?


Here is more info about that D:\Profiles\
D:\Profiles\ is shared as Profiles$
Full control to everyone on the share level
Security:
Administrator FULL
Authenticated Users Read&Write
Creator Owner FULL
SYSTEM FULL

Is something wrong on the folder's security? Please help

Man..I encountered a similar problem a few weeks ago. I forgot what the problem was. But what I did was delete the current profile folder, and then logged in as admin then copied a user profile, butinstead of creating the profile folder first I let windows do it.

It asks you who you want to allow to use the profile, and I added the user, then I went to the account properties and gave the path to the folder \\servername\foldername\%username%

After I did that, i was able to log in with no problems with that user and the profile was pulled down from the share.
