Hey all,

I have a problem with Window 2000 amd roaming profiles. We use Groupwise for mail. When I setup the Groupwise Icon under C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop and set the settings it works. But when someone logs in with a roaming profile the settings are gone. Any help would be great.

Thanks

Bryan

Don't try placing the icon as a static icon on the desktop.

Leverage NAL in the ZENworks product and distribute the icon to the user desktop on every login.

Just use your current image of GroupWise (if you have one), but instead of leaving the setting of distributed program no install needed, enter a comand line and working directory of the software on the desktop. If you don't have an image, then just make a simple app object that distributes and icon witht he settings you want on every user login.

Going this way will ensure a users roaming profile doesn't mess around with your GroupWise icon settings.
