Hello! I have a whole group here that have roaming profiles. The situation I have is that a user has to reset his screen resolution each time he logs in from what the previous user on that system had it.

I thought that this was a setting that was attached to the roaming profile itself, not hardware based? What settings on a computer are changed/or can be changed by the roaming profile?

Thanks!

With a program :

free tool called "MultiRes":

Place the file in the Winnt or Winnt\System32 folder. (As long as it is in the path..)

Then simply launch the file in a login script like so:

multires /800,600,32 /exit (Without the quotes..)

(put in the user startup folder.
