Roaming profile permissions

We have a large number of users on our systems, and they use roaming profiles.

I am ok with permissions on the roaming profile share and profile folders. What I am not sure about is what level of permisions are reccomended for the server the user is logging on to.

What I mean is, the users use thin clients to access a citrix farm. We are frequently having issues with users losing their settings and event logs with various errors.

What permissions are recomended / required for both the C: drive of the Citrix Server, and the documents and settings folder?
