I have a NT4 Domain and have begun to rollout W2KPro clients. I have several users who utilized NT4 roaming profiles, when they log on to a W2K client they receive the following message "Unable to log you on because the netlogon service is not running on this machine." I checked the local machine and the service is running.
I know there are differences in profile information from NT4 to W2K. How can I make it where users can logon to either a NT4 machine or W2K client?
Or is it possible to remove a users roaming profile. I tried to remove the profile location from user manager in the NT4 domain but this does not seem to have any effect.
