I have an Option 61C. We are looking to go company wide with RNP. My spre code for it is 60. But i have 2 different pickup codes and I need to know how i can see who uses what. My codes are either 603 or 6095. Most are using 603 but some have to use 6095. Any help is appreciated.

FEAT RNP
RNPG all
This will list all sets with rnp then you can cut and paste into XL to sort how you wish.

SPRE + 3 = Normal Call Pickup.
SPRE + 95 = DN Call Pickup.

Just make sure all users are in the same RNPG and SPRE + 3 (603) will work system wide.

Telebub, thats pretty much what i was looking for. Though im confused as to whats the difference between Normal Call Pickup compared to DN Pickup..obviously i know what DN pickup is.

Normal call pickup (SPRE+3) is when a user hears another phone ringing and wants to answer it from their own phone. While the other set is ringing, they obtain dial tone from their phone and either press their RNP button or enter SPRE+3 to pickup the call. These phones must be in the same pickup group (RNPG) however.

On digital sets the RNP button is the way to go. Pickup the receiver and press the button, you got the call.

Keep in mind that this is "1st come 1st serve". If you place every set in the system in the same pickup group and 2 sets are ringing simultaneously, the set that initiates the pickup will answer the set that started ringing 1st.

War Eagle!!

And for DN pickup you have to enter in the DN you want to pickup correct? Are the CLS values different then?

Correct. The CLS prompt to allow for DN pickup is DPUA.

War Eagle!!

Thats what i thought, but was confused as i have a phone with PUA, GPUA, and DPUA..and only DN pickup works..

Check the RNPG of the sets in question. That must match on those sets for the PUA to work.

War Eagle!!

RNPG is the same on both sets..however the one set only has PUD and GPUD..however it as DPUA..so the CLS has to match as well?

The set with PUD and DPUD will not be able to perform a pickup. Change it to PUA, DPUA.

War Eagle!!

Well i realize that. However, why would the first set not be able to do a pickup of the 2nd set. Only can do a DN pickup of that set.

Will you post a printout of each TN? I just tested it on my system and it worked. My set and the set in the cube next to me are in RNPG 101. My set is PUA and the other set is PUD. I dialed the set with PUD and successfully picked it up from my phone.

Slash, based on my testing and your printouts, it ought to work. I think the user must be doing something wrong. If you call x2381, then while it is ringing, the user at x2280 should be able to lift the handset and dial 603 and have you in her handset.

War Eagle!!

Alright. Its very possible its user error. I just wasnt too familiar with the pickup features to say so.

Thanks for the help.
