Hi;
I know that this is part of Real Player, and have read other forums on how to remove. Ending the task in "Close Program" does nothing. It doesn't show up in my start-up menu, and I can't simply delete it as I've read in other forums. It says that is being used by Windows and can't be deleted. Any ideas?
Cheers!

Go Start/Run type MSCONFIG in box.....look for references to it in startup tab and uncheck it.....
What exactly are you trying to do?....I may be able to help if you're more specific..

You could
"Restart in Dos mode" and delete it or rename it....
I would first rename it, in case your PC starts acting screwy...in which case you can always rename it back to original.....
For Win98
Go to Start>Shut Down>Restart in Dos Mode......
type in these commands at the C:\> prompt (Capitalization and lowercase mean nothing in DOS, yet the spacing and letters\symbols must be exact) and hit
ENTER after each line....
C:\Progra~1\Common~1\Real\Update~1
ren Rnathchk.exe Rnathchk.old
CDCTRL+ALT+DEL to Restart your computer which now has an Rnathchk.old file where the original one was.....rendering it useless

You can then delete it from within windows since it isn't being used
