RMWK and phantom 500 2

Hi , I've built a phantom tn with mwa and dcfw to callpilot. I have an acd set that I want to receive the message waiting indicator for that phantom dn. It looks like this:

key 10 rmwk 5000 3500

3500 is the phantom dn and 5000 is the callilot dn.

I thought this would give me my message indicator when messages are left for x3500 but it's not working. Anyone know what I've missed? I'm wondering if it has to be a regular 500 port and not a phantom?

Can't be done.

The feature you are actually looking for is XMWK along with class of service change LMPX.

However, XMWK can not be used unless the key is physically on the phone. This is a problem because DN can not be used as a phantom if it appears anywhere else in the phone system.

I'm not sure of the use of RMWK, but I just tested it out and it does not show a message waiting indication.

You can read about the feature Message Waiting Indicator by DN in the Software Feature Guide.
The Remote Monitoring key RMWK looks to be programmed correctly.
You must put RMMA Remote Message Monitoring Allowed in the CLS of the phone to be monitored. In this case DN 3500.
I have done this with digital sets monitoring other digital sets, but never on analog phones or phantom sets.
Do some testing on real analog phones to compare with phantom phones and phantom TNs.

thank you both. I ended up going back to a traditional 500 port with xmwk on the digital set but that's before I read your replies. I din't know about RMMA! No wonder it wouldn't work..

I'll probably go back out there tomorrow and try again with the phantom tn and RMMA. Thanks for the tip Guys!
