RME's availability monitor

I am trying to figure out if there is a way to send an email message when one of the devices on our network goes down. It shows up red and with an arrow pointing down on the availabiility monitor, but how can it alert me?

Write a script to check it. Or just use WhatsUp, its cheap enough to by just for ease of use and is a great monitoring tool.
