RME Syslog

Hello Experts,

i have a question about the syslog analysis in Cisco Works 2000 RME.
In the RME Menu "Syslog Analysis - Change Storage Options" i have the possibility to keep Messages up to 7 Days. Is there a possibility to expand this value. What we want to do is to view messages older than 7 Days in the CW GUI.

Hi Thomas,

I've just been over my course notes and I don't think that keeping Syslog messages for longer than 7 days is possible. According to the notes, each message is timestamped and deleted by default after this period.

I guess a proggy would be able to get around this problem The default directories for Syslog in RME are /var/log/syslog_info (Solaris) and \Program Files\CSCOpx\log\syslog.log (Windoze).
