We are upgrading our old NEC. The leasing company wants the RMAT kit back.

What is an RMATS kit?

How about Remote Maintenance and Testing System. Basically just a Maintenance Log..

Is it a service? Or is it equipment that we need to tag and return? We just don't have anyone who knows very much about this system.

When or if you had issues or Adds, moves or changes, did you call this company and have them remote into your system and change them??? Did this company monitor your outages via remote? IF so there is a device that connects them to your PBX. It will take place of a modem or on the IP network. IF you have this, that is what they probably want back or something..Did you ask them?

Is the old NEC system a 2400? If so the RMATS they may be referring to is a PC (and maybe printer) that runs the 2400 programming software. When ordering the 2400 you used to be able to add a PC to your order for programming changes.

I agree with Mercury. They may also want just the floppy disk set of MAT software. Usually around 10 to 12 floppys in a grey case.
