rman backup !!!

Hi,
I am using rman with no catalog database. I have a backup that is 20 days old and has been obseleted from the control file.
I do have the backup files but don't know how to use them for recovery of the database. Is there any way I can catalog the backup to the control file and can be used for recovery.

No need to add those backup files to current controlfile.

If you need to recover from that backup, you would first recover the controlfile from that backup.
