We are running Great Plains 7.5 on a SQL Server 2000 database. When one of our users runs the RM aging process(Routines > Sales > Aging) from her workstation (Windows XP), it runs VERY slowly. However, if she runs it from another workstation (Windows 2000) it runs fast. Both machines have 256 MB of RAM.

Is there a setting on the workstation and/or GP client that could be affecting this?

Have you check the services running on this workstation? Compare both workstations and see what extra services are running then stop it. Normally users tend to download stuff from Internet not knowing that eveytime they open their computer the service runs automatically. Also uninstall unwanted softwares.

Yes stef315, they are both the same processor speed.

Good idea, Dukester0122. I will check the services. The user for whom aging is running slow has been known to download spyware before. Also, at one time the aging process was running normally on her machine (I'm not sure what was done to fix), but recently it slowed up again.
