Rls 22 Opt81and CallPilot

I have a rls 22.46 opt 81 and a rls 13.11 mer mail, the mail is dying a slow death and I want to install a new Opt11 for Mgates and T-1's and to be the interface for the call pilot. Also, we have many other sites that use this mermail. Does anyone see any problem with #1: Dialing VM and #2: get the lights lit??

So you will be installing an Option 11 with CallPilot and tying it back to the 81 via PRI? The CallPilot will then be the voice mail system for the users on the 81, correct?

One potential problem I see is that if the 81 doesn't already have the NMS package, you won't be able to get it because that release isn't supported anymore. You can't buy any kind of keycodes for it.

Yes, I'll have 3-T-1's with SL1 protocol, the callpilot will totally replace the mermail.... Also, on the 81, I do have PKG 175 or nms. This is for a break/fix

I personally think it will work but I would like to see verification from other gurus on this site.

I have a site with an Option 61C, release 3.0 with CallPilot 4.0 tied to 3 different Option 11s on release 18. All 3 11s use the CallPilot for their VM. They all work fine.

Should be no problem as long as you program the correct release on the dchannel. PNI the same at both ends. Several other factors but if you have the required software packages then you should have no issues.

The real question I had was the MCDN pkg, it was available first on RLS24. Thanks for the input, always great to be able to pass on an idea for others to help!!
