RJ45 to DB9 & RJ45 to DB25

I have some Fujitsu equipment that I serial into for programming. I use a straight thru DB9 to DB25. I ran a cat5 cable from the equipment to my PC about 120'. I have some RJ45 adaptors to serial. I cannot get my PC tp communicate with the equipment for nothing. I feel the problem is lack of sleep. Is there a distance limitation, and what would the pinout be. Any answers?

I feel your pain I run in to this several times trying to hook up ACD termial to PBX equipment.

There are two solutions I can think of.


1> using a RS232 line driver I included the link below.

2> Hook up an old PC with LAN access and install PC Anywhere then you will be able to access your EQ from anywhere.
