RJ45 Serial Cable pinout

This should be an easy question.

I need to make a RJ45 to RJ45 serial cable to connect two v480 to each other. I want to use one box to tip in to the other box. Just wanted to confirm I have the correct pinouts for the cable. I basically just flip the trasnmit and recieve pins right?

2 - 2
3 - 6
4 - 4
5 - 5
6 - 3
7 - 7
8 - 8

2 dtr 7 dsr
3 txd 6 rxd
4 grd 5 grd
5 grd 4 grd
6 rxd 3 txd
7 dsr 2 dtr
8 cts 1 rts




3. cd /usr/platform/
4. run uname -i
5. cd to the arch showned above
6. cd rsc
7. ./rsc-config

configure the rsc card. You can download Doc P/N 806-0426-10 which is the user guide (chapter 2 and 3 describe the setup.
