Risks on Remote Consolidation

Hello all,

Need some help to identify the risks of consolidating all of my actual ERP databases to a remote location by using Oracle.
The plan is to move all the databases to consolidation in another country. The new ERP is be used remotely by Terminal Services (TS server to be located in another country too).
Im not worried with the new ERP itself, but to the fact that the databeses will be physicaly in another country.
Any comments will be very appreciated.
