Could anyone help me... is there risks or threat of having software-based firewall, proxy server and exchange server in a single machine? So far, the implementation meant for corporate email communication only... no critical connection to branches or use for production data (insurance co.)... Please advice.

apart from the fact that it sounds like a microsoft based system; no there is no danger having these 3 daemons/systems on the same machine.

every machine that is connected to the internet could do with having a firewall on it, so if you wanted to seperate the systems you would get firewall + exchange and firewall + proxy, for safety.
