I have a server with RIS installed and setup. Currently there are 8 images on the server.
The latest image won't install to clients. Here is what happens....
Using a PXE boot I connect to the RIS server and select the image I want. I accept the warnings of loosing data and hit enter....Windows checks the system setup....and I get the blue screen (not of death) which says Windows Setup and that is it. That's as far as I get. No errors no sypmtoms of errors just the setup screen.
In checking Active directory, the computer account was created and stored in a predesignated OU...so RIS is managing the client access....but why no install.
When I RIPPrep'ed the image there were no errors and the riprep.log contains no errors.....
I am stumped...boss is breathing down my neck, I don't have the time for this nor to individually install the OS, Office, Updates on each machine....
Any ideas? Hewissa
