Hello,

I need some help from anyone that knows about the windows 2003 RIS technology.

1. I have a Regular DHCP server and a RIS server on the same subnet. I have Authorized the RIS server but have not installed DHCP on the RIS server. Does the RIS server need to have DHCP installed with a scope ? Or can I just use an exsisting DHCP server?

2. Can I have a dhcp server seperate from The RIS server?

3. Does RIS allow you to remote install windows server 2000 or windows server 2003?

Thanks

1) I have installed the ris server. and have experience of it.
2) The easiest way is to have the DHCP and RIS on the same server but yes you can have a DHCP and a RIS server
3) yes you can use an existing DHCP server. (or router? )
