IS-IT--Management
Hi,
We are currently moving over from using Norton Ghost to RIS because of the size of the images over 6Gb:-(, (for each type of machine on the network).
Our initial test machines are based on the MSI 845PE M/B with onboard LAN (intel 10/100 with PXE support), everything connects ok
, we can select our image and start the boot procedure, unfortunatly we get an error message claiming that the image does not include drivers for our network card and we should select another image??
we have tried,
installing SP3 on the RIS Server
upgrading the image to XP Pro SP1
adding the drivers provided on the MSI CD manually by adding files to i386, and editing cfi/txt files...:-(
any bright ideas?
