Hi,

We are currently moving over from using Norton Ghost to RIS because of the size of the images over 6Gb:-(, (for each type of machine on the network).

Our initial test machines are based on the MSI 845PE M/B with onboard LAN (intel 10/100 with PXE support), everything connects ok:), we can select our image and start the boot procedure, unfortunatly we get an error message claiming that the image does not include drivers for our network card and we should select another image??

we have tried,
installing SP3 on the RIS Server
upgrading the image to XP Pro SP1
adding the drivers provided on the MSI CD manually by adding files to i386, and editing cfi/txt files...:-(

any bright ideas?

Helpfull but what about this

Install both the server patch (part of SP3 now), and the client image patch (modified NTLDR that you need to obtain from Microsoft's Q31507

I cant find the new NTLDR anywhere (..)

i.e. The 28933_enu_i386_zip.exe or 24240_enu_i386_zip.exe

? ? ? ? ?
