Hi,
we have installed a Windows 2003 RIS server some weeks ago. I am able to run an unattended setup for a workstation, drivers of $oem$ directory correctly detected and installed and after that I am able to start riprep.exe and make an image.
However, when I want place the image back on the system (by pressing F12 and choosing the specific hardware image) I receive a notification that there are no correct drivers for the network adapter available, which is at the least very strange because I don't have this problem when I run the unattended setup.

We also have a Windows 2000 RIS server on which we don't have these kind of issues. Does anyone know whether 2000 and 2003 work differently ? Yet I have not been able to find anything useful on this on the internet.

Regards,
Wilbert

The problem is "already" solved. For whatever reason Win2000 and Win2003 react quite differently. In this case it was important to put the unattended setup folder (with all known drivers !) on top of the list, so, in alpabetical order. This was neccesary to detect the necessary nic driver(s).
