On Partner 34D, have outside line with different phone number from main (but still shows up on system phone) going to our church info line. Want to cut number of rings before answer to one (now 4) without affecting whole system. How to program?

Hi Jollyman,
If you have an ACS 3.0 or later, you can set the attendant answer on each line independantly. The code is #506, 1=day 2=night, then the number of rings. Default is three rings, an outside caller will hear four rings.
ACS 2.0 down gives you a choice of 1=immediate or 2=delayed. Not much fun as all lines are affected. Day and night.

Our church secretary went in on her Ext 10, "Feature" "0" "0" "System Program" "System Program" #506, "Next Data" and she had two options " Immediate & Delayed". She said it is on "Immediate" for Automated Attendant #1. Our Info line is associated with Automated Attendant #2. How can we get "Immediate" on that outside line?

Thanks

If is a global setting on your particular release of Partner, so it affects all lines assigned to auto attendants in #206-7-NN-1. The auto attendant that answers the line is set inside of the auto attendant, option 6.

Do you need the features of an Auto Attendant for your info line? You could use call cover (#208-NN-XX) and send the call directly to a mailbox instead, callers could still zero out to the operator.
