Have an MICS 6.x with three ringing services, Normal, Away, and Night.

In the process of testing something else, I changed an option somewhere and now we have three additional services that appear when setting the service that read Normal until *, Away until *, and Night until *. How do I get rid of these?

Thanks,
Westley

Go into ringing services and make sure the unwanted ones are set to "off

That's just it. The services until * are not listed in the ringing services.

I'm wondering if it has something to do with setting an automatic schedule. How can I ensure that all schedules have been disabled and that the services can only be selected manually?

Thanks,
Westley

In ringing services set all services you want to use to manual. Go through them all and make sure all unused ones are off

When you program the services you have a choice of Off, auto, or manual. Make sure they are set to OFF. I have never seen that display, but it sounds as though you may have them set to auto, with an incomplete schedule.

Forget about the until* part. Set normal, away, and night to OFF.

I just read you want to set them manually, so instead of OFF, set the ones you want to manual, the ones you don’t to Off.

Sorry telemarv..did not see you there, or posted simultaneously

These options display when you set a service manually to override a setting in the auto schedule. The choices (2)are then to have the schedule pick up the normal schedule when the schedule starts or to leave service on manual until someone turns the service off.

This allows the office to close early one day for a golf game and have the service pick up normal scheduling the next day with no intervention. If the other option is selected then the office can remain on service for an extended period such as plant shut-down or weekend inventory.

Turn off auto if the services are always invoked manually.
