Is there a way to suspend the ringing for incoming calls.Customer is on the phone and second call comes in. Can we make it ring one time and flash (like on the Meridian One. The muted ring is okay but would like to suspend it if there is a way.

No way to delay the ring unless you DRT to prime and not have the line ring at the extension. However this delay will happen ALL the time, not only when the user is on the phone.

Thanks Roldan,

The customer deosn't like the continual muted ring of a second call on his intercom path. DRT will only complicate the matter. I think it just may be a matter he will need to live with.

Thanks

Ben

They can hit their DND button which will silence the ring. When they are done with the first call or after it went to VM, they can ht their DND button again to allow ringing to the set again.

If they don't take the phone off DND the set will not ring at all.

Under Terminals & Sets-->Capabilities-->DND on Busy: set to yes this will prevent the ringing when they are on another call.

Calls will go to VM on the second ring though it looks like.
