ringing of a parallel single line phone on digital ext.

I have a KX-TD816 at first we put a cordless single line phone on ext 105 paralleling a digital phone and it rings fine when we call ext 105 or when a call comes in the cordless phone rings with the digital phone we had to move the cordless phone to ext. 103 now it doesnt ring if we call ext 103 we can pick up the call with the cordless phone but it does not ring. help

you have to enable ringing on second device by picking up digital set and dial 691 this number may be different id on USA model I think that is 391
