Ringing amplifier

Hello!

Is there anyone out there who knows if there is any ringing amplifier that suits a 9608?
I want to plug it in where you normally puts your headset if thats possible?

I´ve heard that there is amplifiers that you connect as a phone, but then you have to use parallell ringing and the place I want to use this already have both an IP-phone and a dect-phone.

No, I'm almost 100% sure you can't plug a ringer into a headset jack and make it ring. If you already have a 9608 twinned to a cordless, then I'm not sure what you could do besides making the 9608's extension a hunt group with all 3 as members.

Make ext number the pilot of a new hunt group. Give new extension number. Make analogue LSA collective member of hunt group.

There is another alternative, Doro RingPlus.
It has a microphone that pick up the ringing sound from the handset.
I've used it for hairdressers and mechanics, no problems with false alarms.
Even has a strobe light.

Pretty cheap too, ungefär 250 SEK

Be careful if they've got under desk fluoros or pc monitors nearby. Seen that technology go nuts every day after lunch when reception took pc monitor out of sleep.
We tested while she was at lunch and couldn't work out why at first.

Holdmusic34: This sounds lika a good idea, but I still want to show the original number when I call, externally is no problems, just have to change on the SIP-settings, but how about internal calls?

Make the hunt group and user name similar but not the same.
Otherwise Then you're doomed to Doro.

making the 9608's extension a hunt group with all 3 as members

Maybe not have all 3 of them as unique extn in that Hunt Group, as the ringer will alert even when in a call.
On the 9608, swap the internal twinned Dect with the Ringer and put 9608 + Dect in the Hunt Group.
