Working on getting the night timer set but for now we really need a quick and easy way to shut the ringer off at night, it is driving the staff crazy. Short of unplugging the computer (or each telephone set), is there any quick way to turn off all phone ringers with one command?
Thanks.
More on the timer setting in other thread.
Thank you.

Advise if you need any other specs or information:

Norstar M8x24DS
NT5B20FC-93 on computer
NT5B49FA-93 0400749520 on the software 'cartridge'

OK thanks Marv.
So in the short term they can just pull the plug on the control board/Nortel computer.

There should be a main phone that is the control set for the night ringer. If you find it try feature 871.

Usually reception phone
if no luck with that or programming under Control sets....

If your talking about external ringer look for an amplifier or box beside it and turn the volume off or pull the jumper.

Also look in our FAQ's for the wiring chart, look for AUX and pull that jumper.

Remove ringing from all sets and turn off aux ring for external ringers. Setup night service to ring the phones you want to ring during the day. Run the system in night service during business hours and turn it off at night to stop all the ringing.
