Whenever the Merlin Magix phone system is power cycled, all the phones' ringer and group page volumes are reset to a default level. All models of phones we have connected seem to behave this way including: Avaya models 4424D+, 4412D, and 18D, so I assume the system maintains the setting somehow.
Other than powercycling, is there a way to centrally adjust the ringer or group page volume to be louder? We are trying to enforce ringers and page volumes to be at a higher volume for shared phones, and want to avoid having to go to each phone physically to set the volume with the up and down keys.

Sorry Danny, that's just how it is.

On MLX Sets, you usually have to adjust the DISPLAY CONTRAST as well.

I guess, I would ask why is the power getting cycled?

I'm just saying that I noticed that volumes on phones are reset when the phones are power cycled. This is a good thing to me. The problem we have is people turning down their group page and ringer volumes so low that they end up ignoring their phone, especially for shared phones. I figured that if rebooting the unit increased the volumes back up to the default level, that there should be a way to centrally administer the volume setting since its obviously stored in the switch some how. I guess not..
