Hello all,

Need some help...
I have a VMPro and I want to set up a menu when someone goes to the voicemail of an extension.
What I want is if the caller press 1, it activates the ringback.

I tryed to make a forward to a ShotCode but it doesn't work...

Any Idea ?

Thanks

Francois

It can be done.

Make a generic action and us this string:

CFG:SET "Extn201" voicemail_ringback 1

Extn201 is in my case extension 201
the 1 is on and 0 is off.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Hello tipeter,

Thanks for your reply.
But I don't want to activate the voicemail ringback the the "ringback when free".

ex : I call an extension, if this extension is busy, I go to the voicemail of this extension.
The start point "leave"of this voicemail is just a menu and if I push 1, I need to ask to the call server to call me back when the extension I try to call is free.

(sorry for my english)

Thanks

Can't be done via VM, but that option automatically comes on the screen of the handset in newer releases, just press the button :)

Like andy says.
The shortcode does not work because you need to hangup first.
So it cannot be done this way.
