Here is the scenario that we would like to happen:

Call rings in to ext. 20, then 16, then auto attendant. I know that the order can not be set if using a hunt group but just posting what was requested.
If both extensions are busy or do not answer then go to AA.

I have been trying various scenarios and have had enough - time to ask the experts.

Current set up:

Avaya ACS R8
Partner Messaging - 6 port card

Slots:
308ec
308ec
ACS
Partner Messaging
empty

If you need more info will be glad to provide.

Set Ext. 20 to Immediate Ring. Set Ext. 16 to Delayed Ring. Assign lines to automated attendant, set number of rings to 6.

Just to make sure, when you mention assign line to aa, this is #505-7-ll?

Ok, that seems to work - sort of.

Rings in at 20, about 2 1/2 rings then goes to AA. Never rings at 16.

#506 VMS hunt delay... default is like 2.... change it to 6

Think twice, speak once~~!!~~

Here's the drill:

Assign lines to be answered by the auto attendant in #206-8-(line number)-1
Assign the number of rings before answer in #506-(1=Day/2=Night)-(line number)-(# of rings from 0 to 6)

#505-7 is where you assign the extension numbers of the voice mail ports.
