Was wondering if it's possible to ring multiple analogue extension all at once. Kinda like a multicall scenario on IP or digital phones.

I don't think so but just maybe someone here has a workaround :)

Thanks in advance,
E

What switch are you refering to? If you are refering to the 200 ICP it is called ONS ring group.

The only way currently to do this is to use suite services, a bit messy but it does the job

OK, if you enable suite services in the COS of the alog phones, then go to suite assignment form and create a suite pilot number, this will be the 'hunt group' number.
Then add the alogs in the group and hey presto all will ring at once when the suite pilot is dialled. the downside is that when any of the phones in the suite calls anyone it will display the suite pilot number as their id, not their own extension number, also i think it takes the suite pilot id to voicemail which could be a problem , although this part may have been changed. I'm told that the much awaited Version 7 offers real ring groups. Hope so!!!

Is it possible to route or call forward calls to this "suite services" number. My scenario is such that I would like to point my day, night1 and night2 under trunk service assignment to this "hunt group" number

Thanks for the info.,

E

Yes it is. We currently have NIGHT2 point to a suite service number as a way to by-pass our auto-attendant in the event of a problem.

Thanks Dale,

Much appreciated. Have had a need to do this for a while now
