Hi everyone,

I am trying to create a ring group on a LIK-50A. I have created ring group 625 with two members, stns 103 & 105. Station 103 has a DID.
I have also created forced forward in the group attributes (Pgm 191) to forward to a system speed number. I have programmed a flex button on stn 103 to enable forced forward. The customer is not using the built in auto attendant.

Two problems. The ring group does not seem to work. When I call the DID of stn 103 only 103 rings and not 103 & 105. Also the forced forward does not seem to work either. I must have missed something in programming but I'm not sure what it is.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Try directing the DID number to group 625.

Then set the Group overflow to go to your speed number by setting the overflow timer.

Thanks Thermus,

That has put me on the right track. In 'Flexible DID Conversion' I changed the 'Ring Mode Destination' from 'STA' 103 to 'HUNT' to Ring Group 625. I will know more if it's working correctly when I am on site tomorrow.

Regards,

Yes, that's it.

DID goes exclusively to a station identified in the DID table. If you want a ring group to work you have set to the DID entry to the Hunt Group number assigned for that ring group.

It should work OK.
