Ring Groups

I have a request from a customer that they would like to "Press one button and make all the phones ring" (like a Night Button or a Service Mode Button, e.g.), to make all of the phones ring on all of the trunks. I have never programmed a ringing service before. Could someone either please step me through it or at least point me in the right direction for step-by-step instructions for such a request? Thanks.

In reply to norstarboy.I work on a lot of phone systems and have been doing so since the early eighties. I just so happens that I have NEVER had to use the ringing service feature before this. I was only asking for a quick refresher so that I could do this job. I AM a technician and I think your comment was uncalled for.
I just looked up ringing service on another web site and I'm good for now. I guess there is nobody smarter than norstarboy.

snakeman666 I see it is often that people who give themselves the title of "Technical User" instead of "Programmer" or "Vendor" will be told to get a tech to site so don't worry about it too much.

We don't want to get into explaining how to enter programming and navigate, passwords etc (you did ask for step by step as well).

Best to always RTM then post if not understanding something.
