using the 1232 laptop software, i am trying to set up a ring group for the voice mail to send calls to 3 or 4 extensions if one is busy.
have set stations in a separate ring group 293 i think, set that ring group to ring, and put that ring group into the voicemail to send callers too. but does not work. read under the phone programming that program code 106 should be set to enable under that ring group but that doesn't do it either. the 1232 manual is not real clear on setting up ring groups. did this 10 years ago on a 816 and worked the first time . kicking my but now. any suggestions

What country is it from as the are different setup for uk and USA systems

I think groups on the USA units are done by user groups. so you have to put those phones in user group and enable group number for that user
